About the Site

Sources of History is dedicated to examining the variety of resources that can be integrated into the social studies classroom.  Fiction and nonfiction books, movies and television programs, news articles, primary source pieces and web resources are all have a place in the modern curriculum.  It is impossible for a single person to read every resource out there.  This blog is my attempt to begin to collect and reflect on the materials that I have been slowly acquiring throughout my (short - so far)  teaching career.  Feel free to make suggestions as we go along!
